Dear SCLA’ers:
One of my students this week surprised me. We had been working together to prepare her for law school applications, discussing essays and choices for a good academic and personal fit. Out of the blue, she texted me to say that she was putting her applications “on hold” because she had been offered a position as a legal analyst at Goldman Sachs, one of the world’s premier investment banking and investment management companies, as many of you know. So, what surprised me?
