This isn’t just an internship—it’s a chance to make a real impact on your campus and leave a legacy that will support future leaders for years to come.

In this paid role, you’ll establish and lead an SCLA chapter, collaborating with administrators, engaging with students, and organizing both live and virtual events over the course of two semesters. You’ll be building a lasting community that fosters personal and professional growth, all while gaining real-world experience that employers value. Join us, and you’ll not only be shaping your own future, but leading others on their journey to success.

What you'll do:

  • Be the face of SCLA on your campus! Partner with our national team to get your chapter
registered as a student organization and engage with students and campus groups to bring SCLA’s mission to life.
  • Partner with faculty and administrators to secure departmental sponsorship, ensuring your chapter has the support it needs to thrive—SCLA’s national team will have your back every step of the way.
  • Take the lead in organizing 1-2 impactful member events per semester with support from
SCLA’s National Office. These events will be where your chapter shines and makes its mark.
  • Contribute to shaping SCLA’s future programs, helping us build initiatives that enhance
career outcomes for students just like you.
  • Participate in leadership training and organize local activities, all while building essential
skills that will boost both your résumé and your confidence.
  • Connect virtually with Chapter Presidents from other schools to exchange ideas, collaborate on programs, and share experiences—because together, we’re stronger.
  • Assist in creating visuals such as graphics, images, and short videos (experience in Canva or other design platforms is a plus)

What you'll get:

  • Milestone-based payment — your hard work pays off, literally. Earn up to $1,340!
  • Complimentary Skills Certification Course, providing up to 3 academic credits (worth over $900), to help you grow professionally.
  • Exclusive access to career introductions and networking opportunities with industry leaders—making the connections that will shape your future.
  • Personalized mentorship from SCLA’s National Office, giving you the guidance and
support to succeed, not just in this role but in your career ahead.
  • Lifetime membership in The SCLA (a $95 value), offering a lifetime of connections to a prestigious network of leaders.
  • A professional resume critique session with a Career Coach to ensure your résumé stands
out in any job application (valued at $250).
  • Upon successful completion, receive a personalized Letter of Recommendation from the SCLA Executive Director, giving you an edge in your future career pursuits

Who you are:
