The Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement (SCLA) is an honor society built around career acceleration. Membership is organized into three pillars: Recognition for what you've already achieved, Personal Development to build on it, and Career Acceleration to turn it into a job. You also get lifetime access to SCLA Academy. With 125,000+ members at 850+ colleges and 3,000+ company partners, SCLA is where your GPA starts working for you. 

Membership is built on three pillars.

Yes. Membership is a one-time fee of $95. No dues, no renewals, no annual charges. That one fee covers all three pillars, your college credit at no additional cost and lifetime access to SCLA Academy.

Invitations only go to students at institutions with an SCLA chapter, so if you received one, your institution has a chapter. You were invited because you met our GPA requirement, a minimum of 3.0 and higher at some institutions.

SCLA is an independent honor society. Your chapter operates at your institution with an advisor there, but SCLA is not a department of your college and your membership is separate from your enrollment. Your invitation means you qualified. Joining is your call.

Your $95 fee supports:

  • Building the tools. Career Path Finder, Practice Round, Resume Builder and everything else in the member area.
  • The staff behind them. Real people supporting members through the programs.
  • Scholarships awarded to members.
  • Administration and delivery of our programs at every SCLA chapter.
Yes. SCLA holds a Certificate of Accreditation from the Accrediting Commission for Schools, WASC, valid through June 30, 2029, and Array Global accreditation valid through June 30, 2031. That accreditation is what makes our coursework credit-bearing, so the college credit you earn as a member is real credit. How it transfers varies by institution. You can see both certificates on our accreditation page.
