How do I stay patient with my coworkers?

Interpersonal relationships at work are important — even more important than compensation, according to one study. When researchers asked 1,000 workers what kept them from leaving a role, they were 10 times more likely to cite friendships than pay. That doesn’t mean it’s always easy working with people, however, and you might find yourself occasionally getting fed up with your coworkers.



When you notice yourself getting impatient with the people around you, follow these four steps to ensure you don’t let your temper make a frustrating situation worse.
